Floral Fragrance

Floral Fragrance:

Floral fragrance, or flower fragrance, is composed of all the volatile organic compounds (VOCs), or aroma compounds, emitted by floral tissue (e.g. flower petals). Other names for floral fragrance include, aroma, scent, floral odour or perfume. Flower fragrance of most flowering plant species encompasses a diversity of VOCs, sometimes up to several hundred different compounds. The primary functions of floral fragrance are to deter herbivores and especially folivorous insects, and to attract pollinators. Floral fragrance is one of the most important communication channels mediating plant-pollinator interactions, along with visual cues (flower color, shape, etc.).
Fragrances we applies in our floral segment aromatic products (incense sticks, agarbatti & dhoop) are ~ Jasmine, Rose, Mogra, Lavender, Rajanigandha etc.

1) Jasmine :

Jasmine gives a richness and intensity to fragrances: a sweet floral note, but with a dead-sexy muskiness to it. If you smell different concentrated 'absolutes' (the oily liquids created through macerating the jasmine flowers), they have their own characters: some smell medicinal, some sweet, some musky, some green.

2) Rose :

Rose essential oil, also known as attar, is made from the Damask Rose (Rosa damascene) or the Cabbage Rose (Rosa centifolia). Because the oil is so concentrated, it's diluted before it's used commercially. A rose's petals contain its perfume, although some stamens smell of musk or cloves.

3) Mogra:

This is the Indian Jasmine flower. The small, white flower of Mogra is used for making garlands. Mogra has a fresh, spicy, floral fragrance." - a note from the brand.

4) Lavender:

This very aromatic and powerful note evokes southern gardens, summer, and sometimes a bit of a vintage feel. It is also herbaceous, camphorated and medicinal. Its fresh scent includes a note of bergamot, a little floral note, and woody tones.

5) Rajanigandha:

Rajanigandha flower is a natural stress-reliever. The pleasant aroma of the flower calms the mind and relaxes the body. Thus, it is used to manage anxiety, stress, anger, confusion, emotional disturbances, and insomnia.
